"I didn't know it was possible for a spirit t' change their appearance like that." Lieu spoke to cover her surprise of Yue's haircut though she did smile. It wasn't a bad look on her.

The spirit smiled gently. “To many my hair was more important than I. I felt maybe a change would remind them of the person I am. I’m glad you like it. Would you like to help me clean up the fallen bits? I’d rather my hair not sold like some tourist trinket”

"You are doing wonderfully. You don’t believe in yourself much do you?" Yue questioned the waterbender curiously. "Though you really should. You are perfectly brilliant I think."

"I’m gettin’ better." The truth was almost too bold, eyes darting to the ground for a moment before she forced them up. "If ya think this is bad, be glad ya didn’t see me a year ago. I was an absolute mess then."

She grinned, trying to joke about it as her brother would before the smile gentled into something softer. “Thank ya. That means alot actually.”

Iroh doubted he’d ever forget his dozens of jousts with death, but feeling the young woman’s soft lips against his helped him shuffle them to the back of his mind as he leaned; with a soft purr, he rested his hand against the back of her neck to keep her close, spare hand caressing her side.

Lieu had been just about to pull away when she felt his hand rest on her neck, preventing her doing just that. Instead, she took it as an invitation to deepen her kiss, sucking his bottom lip gently. Her hand moved slowly over his chest and shoulder to rub her thumb in circles against the base of his neck.

Yue giggled kneeling down lifting her head. “Hey hey, I am still human in some manner. I like having friends who come to greet me. No need to be so formal. But if it helps you can call me Princess Yue.”

"Sorry, it’s just how I was raised I guess. There’s not alot that the swamp takes too seriously, but respectin’ the spirits and the avatar are one of them. But..I can do that, Princess Yue." Lieu flushed a little in embarassment, clearing her throat. "And, I did say I would help clean up, so before the priests come back in, I better sweep huh? And before my thin’ melts. I’ll never be a great icebender."

Lieu nodded, glancing around for a broom. She spotted one tucked away, and not seeing a dustpan, she made one out of frozen water. “Not sure, how this will work, seems like someone misplaced somethin’. But it should d’ the job.”

Lieu could understand wanting a change and reminding people of what she was capable of. Wasn’t that her main reason for leaving the swamp in the first place?

Yue held out a lock of her hair. “Would you like some? A gift from me to you. It’s not really anything special but it should give fair blessing for a time.”

Lieu nearly dropped the broom at that, her grip tightening before it could truly start to fall. “For me? Thank ya.”

She bowed deeply before accepting it with both hands, keeping the broom tucked in her elbow. For now, she stored in a empty box in her bag, but she would find a better way to honor such a gift.

That was one thing that Lieu had never really gotten used to. The selling of trinkets of major Spirits, real or fake. Icons and statues, yes. They took effort on the crafter and so should be rewarded. But to sell items that supposedly came from the Spirits, whether a strand of hair or some item that they touched, seems…wrong to her.

There’s a part of her that almost thinks you’re asking to be cursed buying one of those, because those items are meant to be gifts, not merchandise.

"We’ve been traveling for a while now her main goal was to come here to learn plant bending. But we got side tracked." Hasook began to rub her back, she leaned over the side of the boat waiting for the wave of nausea to pass.

"She’s a great bender you should watch her while she’s probending. She taught me a thing or too." Koko smiled for a briefly hearing Hasook’s praise for her skill, the two had spent a lot of one on one time while she trained him to get better. He dropped the sport just prior to coming on the trip with Koko he hadn’t told her that part yet.

"Side tracked, how?" Lieu was genuinely curious, but it also helped to keep Hasook calm. Come to think of it, since he had been around her sick, he would have to stay by the herbalist’s tent at first too. Not that it seemed he had any intention to leave Koko. It was sweet and Lieu couldn’t help the smalle smile, even as her and Bao got the boat and raft moving, keeping them slow not to upset Koko’s stomach anymore.

"Probendin’?! That is really cool, I know a probender!" Lieu bit down on her lip, having not really brought up Shaozu to her family. They would read too much into it and pass judgement. "But I’ll ask more when she’s feelin’ up t’ it."

There were flyers scattered around the city. They proudly read, "Are you a bender? Do you have spirituals connections? Are you interested in furthering the scientific understanding of the world? Sign up for harmless experiments! Inquire behind the medical supply warehouse on the corner of 5th and Kuzon street."

Lieu picked up one of those flyers, turning it over in her hand and reading it slowly. It was strange, but it did pique her interest. And she wasn’t too far from there as it was. It wouldn’t hurt to go and ask some questions, now would it?

About twenty minutes later, she knocked on the door, giving a  bright smile to Maruti as he opened the door. “Hi, I found a flyer?”

"I find that gathering as much information as possible is scientifically helpful in the long term," he answered, "So, we’ll see."

Martui grabbed the chopsticks that were in the carton and, after several unsuccessful tries, scooped up the noodles and stuck them in his gob.

"Vewry intereshting plashe, Froggy Schwamp," he remarked, his mouth full of noodles. He gulped them down, made a slightly distressed face, and continued, "Very spiritual. Visions and whatnot. Especially in deeper parts. Have you ever had a vision there?"

Lieu could understand that. It’s why she had her own notebooks of her own personal studies, though she didn’t share them with everyone. She was a bit surprised by his inability to eat with chopsticks, but shrugged it off for now.

"Yeah, it can be." His questions about visions took her back, and at first she shook her head. "No, I’ve seen plenty of spirits, but visions tend t’ be reserved….well actually." She pursed her lips as she thought, a finger curling and uncurling a strand of hair. "I did when I was younger, about six or so. I saw my grandpa and he even played a waterbendin’ game with me, even though he passed away before I was born. And some of the spirits could be visions I suppose, but I always thought of them as spirits."

And in other news…there was no need to panic. Lieu’s an ISFJ, she just tends to have alot of intuition for an ISFJ.

Tried one other test, and got the same result, but I think I see where I was doubting. She has only a slight difference between intro/extro and sensing/intuition. The other two are pretty distinct differences.

……I’m thinking of retaking Lieu’s type again on mbti.

consider this:

your otp has been seeing each other for awhile and person a stays over at person b’s house a lot. and they always bring a bag of clothes for the next day until finally person a looks at them and says “middle drawer, it’s yours.”
